Thành lập năm 1946, SICK hiện nay đã có mặt ở hầu khắp các quốc gia với gần 50 công ty con và chi nhánh, cũng như rất nhiều đại lý bán hàng toàn cầu. SICK hiện có khoảng hơn 5.000 nhân viên trên toàn thế giới, doanh số bán hàng năm 2010 ước đạt 748,9 triệu EURO.
Năm 2007, Công ty TNHH Thiết bị Công nghiệp và Tự động hóa AUMI đã chính thức hợp tác với SICK trong việc phân phối các sản phẩm đo khí (gas analysis) và đo nồng độ bụi tầng trung, đo lưu lượng khí trên toàn thị trường Việt Nam.
Năm 2008, AUMI tiếp tục được SICK Sensor ủy quyền phân phối các sản phẩm cảm biến SICK (Sick Sensor) tại khu vực phía Bắc Việt Nam.
Sau 3 năm không ngừng lớn mạnh và phát triển, Công ty AUMI đã chứng minh được năng lực và kinh nghiệm của mình,AUMI đã được SICK ủy quyền tiếp quản thị trường phía Nam Việt Nam từ đại diện của của SICK.
Từ ngày 29/09/2011, AUMI chính thức trở thành đại lý ủy quyền chính thức và duy nhất trên toàn bộ lãnh thổ Việt Nam của SICK, chịu trách nhiệm phân phối, bảo hành sản phẩm, tư vấn giải pháp, hỗ trợ kỹ thuật cho tất cả các khách hàng sử dụng cảm biến SICK.

SLG - smart light grids - smart, slender, stealthThe smart light grid family includes smart area sensors, smart gate sensors and smart pick-to-light sensors. At only 8 x 25 mm, they fit nearly anywhere and can be imbedded inside walls, doors, conveyors, and machines. Slim and flat versions are available. They can be ordered in 120 to 1,400 mm lengths in a plastic or aluminum housing. Auto-muting, auto-teach and an alignment aid provide more uptime. They are ideal for order-picking, automatic doors, counting objects and other applications.
Easily detect, inspect or count with automation light gridsThe standard automation light grids from SICK can be used in a number of solutions, such as detecting and counting of irregularly shaped objects, checking for presence and protrusions of pallet loads. Light grids from SICK offer multiple ranges, heights, sizes, orientations, and resolutions. All processing is integrated in the light grids for fast setup with no external controller needed.
For demanding requirements
Advanced automation light grids are ideal for more complex applications. They come in several different beam spacing options, a range of detection heights and output configurations. These light grids can be used for material handling on conveyors, automated storage and retrieval system applications, order fulfillment, and more. For example, in pallet verification applications, maximum height and pallet overhang can be measured without additional photoelectric sensors. This data can be forwarded to the PLC via bus systems.

SICK - The pioneer in contrast sensors for more than 60 yearsContrast sensors are primarily used in packaging/printing machines for the detection of printed or control marks. SICK's line of KT contrast sensors detects even the smallest contrasts at the highest speeds, such as print marks on foils or packaging. They detect minute grayscale variations between the mark and the background on matte, shiny or transparent surfaces. A variety of device types with different contrast resolution methods and teach-in versions are available to meet wide-ranging requirements.
Focus on colorColor sensors detect the color of a surface. The sensors cast light (red, green, and blue LEDs) on the objects to be tested, calculate the chromaticity coordinates from the reflected radiation and compare them with previously stored reference colors. If the color values are within the set tolerance range, a switching output is activated.

SICK fork sensors: more models, more functionalityFork sensors, which operate using a through-beam design, combine the sender and receiver in a single housing. As a result, alignment is no longer time-consuming. Even very slight differences in light attenuation are detected due to highly focused light emission and high detection accuracy. Easy installation, high immunity to ambient light, and a wide range of fork widths are some of the many advantages that SICK fork sensors offer. Applications include detecting labels or parts on conveyors.
High-precision displacement and angle measurement
Displacement, position, angle – in industrial automation where positions have to be
precisely determined, you simply cannot beat an encoder. The same applies when
determining speed and acceleration. Due to their working principle, the photoelectric
scanning of optical code patterns, in linear displacement measurement these
sensors have a resolution of micrometers and in angle measurement they have a
resolution of a few thousandths of a degree. With less demanding tasks, of course, they cope easily.
